EcoFlow has recently introduced the Power Hat. This hat, except for protecting your head from the sun can also charge your devices at the same time. So, if you enjoy hiking or camping this hat would be the perfect choise for you. The circular brim of the hat is full of solar panels, and it also provides 2 ports (USB-A and USB-C) to connect your devices for charging.
According toEcoFlow, the hat can fully charge a phone with a 4,000mAh battery in 3-4 hours, an acceptable amount of time for solar charging since the hat doesn’t have batteries. Solar panels are made of a thin, flexible material called “passivated emitter and rear contact (PERC) monocrystalline silicon”. It offers about 12W in charging, while the weight of the whole hat is less than 380 grams.
The Power Hat is also IP65 certified, which means that rain does not affect it. It’s adjustable and comes in two sizes, 56-58cm and 59-61cm. It’s priced at $129 and pre-orders begin on August 31st, with it hitting store shelves in mid-September.
